Membership dues are $100 twice a year,in September and January. This is the money that helps to pay the contracts of our wonderful director and accompanist, the rental of the rehearsal site, office rental, theand thefees for orchestra members, soloists, insurance, printing, etc. You will also need to purchase your music approximately 3 times a year. If finances are a problem, some limited scholarships are available. Please see the Membership Chairperson if this is your concern. Please do not let money be an obstacle to your Choir membership. However it should not be an ongoing scholarship. Generally speaking, scholarships are limited to a two year maximum period. If you do need a scholarship, you should be willing to volunteer to keep the Choir running.Singers who have neither paid dues nor applied for a scholarship will not have their names listed in the concert program. It is very expensive to produce concerts. There will be fundraising projects throughout the year. Our largest fundraising activity the Music & Arts campaign in February/March. (We have been successful in obtaining 100% choir participation on this fundraiser.) You will also be asked to sell tickets to our concerts. Income from these sources is vital to Choir activities.
